How does it work?

  • Hydrates skin

  • Reduces signs of ageing

  • Promotes radiant-looking skin

Strengthens and nourishes to hydrate and visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines

The delicate area around the eyes is often the first to show signs of ageing. Nourish your skin with the power of omegas 3, 6 and 9. These ingredients deeply hydrate the eye area to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while simultaneously strengthening the skin's natural resilience and soothing dry, dehydrated and dull-looking skin.

In this powerful blend, omegas are supported by ceramides which work to replenish and rebuild the skin's natural barrier, and potent antioxidants calm irritated skin and reduce the appearance of undereye darkness. The sheer, lightweight lotion layers well with the rest of your routine and absorbs quickly into the skin.

How to use

Step 4 Treatments Eye Cream

How to use a serum

To help the texture of the eye cream apply more easily, first soften it between two fingertips. Then gently massage using a circular motion into the skin around your eyes. As always, avoid tugging or pulling at the skin and avoid direct contact with the eyes. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

Here's a step-by-step of your morning & evening skincare application.
Step 1: Cleanser
Wet your face and apply a small amount with gentle, circular motions. Rinse well. To remove heavy makeup, repeat or use with a clean, wet washcloth.
Step 2: Toner
With your fingertips or a cotton pad, gently apply over the face and neck. Do not rinse.
Step 3 Exfoliants
Gently apply with your fingertips or a cotton pad over the face and neck, including the eye area (avoid lash line and eyelids). Do not rinse. Start slowly: Apply every other day and note your skin's response. Then use up to twice daily.
Step 4 Treatments
Dispense a pearl-sized amount to your hand and apply once or twice daily to the face, neck and eye area.
Step 5 Moisturisers
Use a day moisturiser as the last step in your morning skincare routine and apply liberally at least 15 minutes before stepping into sun exposure. As always, it's best to reapply every two hours once the skin has been exposed to direct sunlight. For a night moisturiser, apply a small amount once or twice daily to the face and neck.

FAQ

Most asked

What are omega fatty acids?

Omega fatty acids help to enhance skin hydration by sealing in the skin’s moisture and reducing evaporation to the surrounding atmosphere. There are 11 omega fatty acids; the most vital for skin are:

Omega-3 - Found in foods such as fish oil, flax seed (linseed) oil, walnut oil, and chia oil.
Omega-6 - Abundant in many plant oils, linoleic acid, and passion fruit oil.
Omega-9 - Plentiful in flax seed (linseed) oil and soybean, canola, peanut, and sunflower oils.

How do the eye creams from Paula's Choice differ?

Omega+ Complex Eye Cream - The sheer and lightweight consistency absorbs quickly into skin and addresses dehydration, dullness and early signs of ageing around the eye area. The ingredients used resonate with those looking for increased natural ingredients.
Resist Anti-Aging Eye Cream – Think overnight eye mask. This hyper-rich, balm-like cream is a great option for those experiencing extra dryness in addition to signs of ageing around the eyes.
Resist Anti-Aging Eye Gel – This refreshingly light gel option is great for daytime use. The cooling applicator quickly soothes puffiness while other key ingredients brighten and help reduce fine lines over time.
Clinical Ceramide-Enriched Firming Eye Cream – This potent, creamy lotion was formulated for those who want to address aggressive signs of ageing including lines, wrinkles, discolourations and lack of firmness. It is considered a powerhouse treatment for the eye area.

What is the difference between dry and dehydrated skin?

Because “dry skin” and “dehydrated skin” are used interchangeably, there tends to be confusion about the difference.
Dry skin is a skin type that means skin routinely feels tight and/or dry. The intensity of this can change a bit throughout the year, but in the absence of a good hydrator, the dry, tight feeling is always present.
Dehydrated skin is a skin condition that can make skin look and feel dry all over, but this feeling tends to come and go rather than persist. Another tell-tale sign of dehydrated skin is that it’s often accompanied by excess oil on the surface. Despite this extra oil production, skin still feels tight or dry and is often accompanied by flaking.
